Fantastic British Heritage brand are now looking for a Head of RTW Development to join their business at their London Head Office. Within this role the Head of RTW will be responsible for the development and production of RTW; seeing the product from Design right the way through production ensuring products are developed within deadlines and agreed margins. In terms of product the core of the collection will be the premium outerwear, although the collection will also involve working across wovens, jersey and high-end knitwear. The Head of RTW should also have a technical understanding of garment construction and fit, although the role will not involve hands-on fitting there will the requirement to manage the Technician and oversee the process.
- A strong Product Developer with significant magerial experience who is able to take products commercially through the entire life cycle from initial design through production.
- Applicants should have had some exposure to developing premium to luxury quality level outerwear amongst other product areas.
- Having worked within a role where there is involvement in setting-up or growing departments would be a key advantage.
- A solid understanding of the manafacturing process, effective in the factory environment and able to travel when nessacary.
- ideally applicants should have worked with factories across the UK, Europe and the FE.

Basic salary between £70,000 and £90,000 + Package
