Head of Risk and Compliance

I am currently working with a market leading business based in Bedford to appoint a new Head of Risk and Compliance. Leading the Risk and Compliance function, you would be responsible for addressing the operational risks of the business and ensuring compliance with legislation. A key element of this role is to develop a strategy that will balance commercial benefits of risk and legal compliance.

Key tasks will involve monitoring internal audits to meet ISO standards and working with external bodies to ensure that the requirements are met. You would also be responsible for working with key corporate customers to establish their audit requirements and develop plans to maximise compliance.

Candidates must possess a formal accountancy or compliance qualification, have experience in a similar role within a commercial organisation and have the ability to communicate at all levels.
