Head Of Learning Disabilities – £60k – London - could this be you!!!
Carly @Point 9 Recruitment is assisting one of our most prestigious, progressive service providers in Domiciliary Care to appoint a Head of Learning Disabilities.
The role for the right candidate is To lead the learning disability support team to provide quality care, responsible for the strategic development for the services and to guide operational managers to lead a multi disciplinary team.
Would suit a current Regional Director
Qualifications & Experience required for this role:-
• Relevant professional qualification desirable and/or educated to A level (or equivalent) standard in a relevant area. RNLD Advantageous and RMA/LMC Essential.
• Strategic understanding of customer and commissioning demands regarding care and learning disability services.
• Knowledge of government strategies and local policy.
• Knowledge of law impacting the services we deliver.
• Experience of working to fulfil the needs and requirements of vulnerable/ disabled people.
• Experience in risk identification and assessment.
• Planning for change and experience in managing change processes and managing staff of varying competency levels.
• Knowledge of CQC and commissioning requirements.
