Head of IT Treasury/ Saudi Arabia/ Service Delivery/ Treasury

Saudi National needed for a leading Saudi Bank based in Jeddah. The bank currently has an opening in their IT treasury team for a Head of IT. The Head of IT is responsible for the oversight of the newly created team providing value-added IT products and services to the banks treasury business in a responsive and cost-effective manner ensuring the business strategic capabilities are achieved.

Core Responsibilities:

• Understands and aligns IT Service delivery to the strategy of the Treasury business in line with the long term strategy of the bank with the view to achieve budgeted targets

• Manages the Development, Support and Service Management of Treasury IT Services team

• Assists as required with the Treasury Strategy Group to consider technological options and planning

• Manage Treasury system related projects within budgeted time and cost

• Manage the outsourced and internal resources efficiently for smooth service delivery

• Ensures adherence to internal guidelines and external regulatory framework

• Manage communications channels with stakeholder groups, acting as a single accountability for Treasury IT activities.

• Facilitate open communication and influence and manage planning and implementation of change in the area of Treasury IT.

• Monitor levels of customer satisfaction at regular times and implement action plans to address customer issues and concerns

• Champion and promote service improvements on an on-going basis to continually improve quality and customer (Business) satisfaction with Treasury IT services

• Facilitate and manage a monthly Treasury IT Service Performance Review with Heads of Development, Test and Service Management (CIO optional invitation). This will provide a communication and discussion platform to enable alignment with Treasury activities and priorities and the Technology leadership forum.

Requirements

• University Degree Holder in Computing / IT or Business or equivalent industry experience

• 8 - 10 years in Information Technology Area, preferably in a Banking and Finance environment

• In-depth knowledge and experience of Treasury

• Experience of managing teams, particularly across different geographical locations
