Position:  Head of IT Infrastructure - Retail

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 +  Package

Location: London

Our client one of the world’s leading creative luxury Retail brand is looking for a qualified commercially astute Head of IT Infrastructure who has considerable experience working in Navision ERP Platform within the FMCG or Retail sector.

The Role

The Head of IT Infrastructure will contribute to the overall IT strategy and will formulate the processes to achieve its growth plans and success.   Initially the key focus will be around enhancement of the new Navision ERP platform and EPOS (Retail J) upgrade.

This role reports to the Finance Director. 

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an round IT professional who is versatile knowledgeable and hands on. You will have previous Retail sector IT experience and will enjoy working in a fast pace and challenging role.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

  • Previous IT experience within the FMCG and/or Retail sector is compulsory
  • Provide the technical knowledge and understanding of M/S Dynamics Navision ERP
  • Working in partnership with key departments to clearly understand the needs of the business.
  • Review the IT strategies within the business for both UK and US markets
  • Taking a strategic view of the IT solutions network to identify how the network should look in the future in order to ensure an efficient and service-driven IT operation.
  • Manage and oversee the IT operations being accountable for all IT activities for the organisation.
  • Interface with the relevant departments to understand their needs and provide IT solutions
  • Excellent influential skills required at board level
  • Supervise, lead and manage the members of the IT team in the UK
  • To oversee systems management and development across the IT function
  • Full P&L responsibility for all IT management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are essential
  • Be self motivated and enthusiastic and have a can do attitude.
  • Provide excellent cost effective IT Customer service skills.
  • Understand and support the Brand attributes
