Head of Finance, Media, £60,000 - £75000 plus package, Central London

Our client is a leading international publishing company and following a recent acquisition they are currently restructuring their UK business and Finance Department.

An opportunity has arisen to join the business as a Head of Finance reporting to the UK Financial Director.

This role will manage a team of 5 and support the Financial Director to enable the business to achieve and exceed its strategic and financial objectives. The successful candidate will report on current financial delivery and influence future performance.

The role:

• Lead a team of 5 to deliver financial and management reporting and clearly communicate this to the business
• Manage cash and working capital and liaise with the external auditors and other advisors
• Work with the Financial Director to integrate the new acquisition - strategically, commercial and operationally
• Assist in the implementation of SAP across the newly integrated business

The person

• Qualified Accountant ACA, CIMA or ACCA with strong communication skills
• Experience of working within a high energy team, delivering results in a professional environment
• Previous experience of the Media sector and of using SAP is essential
