Leading financial insitution in Qatar is looking to establish its economic research and business intelligence function and would like to hire an experienced individual to lead it.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
•Produce insightful analysis on Qatar and the region – Presenting findings to the Executive and Board as required.
•Represent the bank at key functions, delivering key note presentations.
•Build a pipeline of business intelligence regarding key events, Government initiatives, projects and competitor activities in Qatar and the region.
•Provide investment advisory support to the bank and its investment banking arm.
•Develop the banks brand in the marketplace with commentary on key economic sectors and events
Person Specification
•A Masters or PhD in economics
•A minimum of 10 years experience in economic analysis and research (GCC Region)
•Experience in the banking sector and GCC preferred
•Strong quantitative skills
•Strong English and Arabic language skills
