Group Reporting Manager

One of the UK’s best-recognised retail brands based in the heart of London is currently seeking a Group Reporting Manager to join on a temporary basis for a period of 6-8 months.  Reporting into an exceptionally high-calibre and dynamic Head of Group Reporting, the successful applicant will have direct line responsibility for a team of four group accountants.  For this reason, applicants must have staff management experience and will have previously had responsibility for at least two qualified accountants previously.  Responsibilities will include: overseeing the end-to-end financial risk and control processes within the firm; overseeing financial models to support review and challenge budget submissions; ensuring financial controls and procedures are robust, comprehensive and efficient; responsible for preparation of London budget; analysis against budget, engaging and influencing other senior members; and ensuring the timely preparation of the firm’s financial consolidated reporting.  Given the background of the incumbent and the head of Group Reporting, my client are seeking a Top 4 trained, ACA (or CA) qualified accountant with 3-5 years post-qualified experience in a relevant sector.  Individuals who match the above criteria (Top 4, Chartered, retail sector and with management experience) should apply immediately.  This is an outstanding opportunity not to be missed!
