Group Marketing Manager

Vantage Motor Group is a successful and growing motor group that represents two globally leading brands, Toyota and Hyundai, across Yorkshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Due to promotion, we are now recruiting a Group Marketing Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual who wants to progress their career in marketing within a charismatic and exciting industry. Your role will be a broad mixture of online marketing coupled with offline marketing such as direct mail, radio and events.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved with many aspects of the marketing mix, working closely with senior managers to create and implement our regular marketing plans successfully. You’ll be responsible for planning and progressing the day to day implementation of marketing projects which will include proofing copy, working and liaising with suppliers and agencies and implementing our marketing strategy to ensure return on investment.

You will also play the key role in the development of our online marketing strategy management of our group website and presence on our manufacturer sites, which will involve writing copy and content for the website, and spearheading social media activity for the business. You will also be required to work closely with our key contacts at Toyota and Hyundai, presenting and reporting on our marketing plans to ensure brand compliance and maintaining our excellent relationships with both brands.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communications skills, a foundation in marketing either through their work experience to date or through qualifications gained.  You will have a thorough understanding of and passion for the online marketing environment. You’ll have a can do, hands on approach and be willing to undertake a range of tasks and manage your workload independently using your organisational skills and attention to detail.

This role will require the successful candidate to hold a full UK Drivers licence and be willing to travel when required.
