A challenging opportunity has arisen within our well-established Client for a Group Compliance Manager
Within the role you will be responsible for facilitating the management of Compliance and Risk activities across our Clients Group. Along with the other compliance teams you will be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of effective best practices which promote a commitment to compliance with our Client.
The primary focus of this role will be to assist the Group Compliance Function in:
Keeping abreast of regulatory developments affecting the General Insurance sector and articulating their relevance and impact upon our Client
Establishing written guidance to staff on the appropriate implementation of the rules and standards through the Compliance Manual, policies and procedures and other documents such as guides or training
Assessing the appropriateness of internal procedures and guidelines, promptly following up any
identified deficiencies and formulating proposals for amendments supporting and overseeing, in the absence of the Group Head of Compliance, monitoring function in its policy development owning specific compliance responsibilities/projects as directed by the Head of Group Compliance;
Advising management on best practice standards with particular reference to any specific projects undertaken
To be successful in this role you will have a solid background in a regulatory environment
with previous experience of implementing new procedures and regulations along with a
good understanding of the General Insurance and Insurance Broking market
You will have strong communication skills at all level, being well organised with a positive approach to work.
You must be happy working in a team environment along with the ability to work on your own initiative
