Graduate Software Engineer - C languages
Our client is a market leader in PC based video graphics and video capture technology. They are rapidly growing and need to expand thier software development efforts in several areas, including hardware drivers, graphics and capture card drivers, streaming drivers and video management applications.
They are seeking a software engineer who will be involved in the design and implementation of software drivers and applications for graphics and video capture solutions. The successful applicant will work as part of the software development team, reporting to the Software Engineering Director.
The role will offer the challenge and satisfaction of developing visualisation solutions of diverse areas such as media servers for rock shows display and controllers for control rooms in power stations.
Job Function
- Design and develop display drivers for Datapath designed hardware.
- Develop applications software for video control and management
- Develop technical solutions with colleagues, partners and customers for a wide variety of application and software areas.
- Support for customer development of software using all above APIs.
- Provision of ongoing general technical support for customers.
Skills and Experience
- You can be a recent graduate to an experienced engineer -
- Strong team skills are required to ensure efficient integration of software components and applications developed with Datapath's software team.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- C# experience and development of SDKs
- Windows SDK applications development in Visual Studio and C
- A relevant degree or similar - electonics, software engineering, hardware engineering.
- A creative/problem solving mindset who can demonstrate excellent determination and committment
