An established Recruitment Consultancy enjoying consistent year-on-year growth, our client are seeking ambitious and resilient Graduates to work within a highly consultative corporate role. You will work with a strong Blue Chip client base. The firm was LLP Accredited on two separate occasions and has won multiple industry awards for innovation and growth strategy.
The Company
- Established in 1997 our client has office locations in Manchester and St Albans with a dedicated European team based from Manchester. The office network allows our client to provide national and international recruitment solutions supported by a local presence.
- One of the biggest areas of interest with our client is their European division, established to provide sales recruitment solutions to the information technology and telecommunications sectors throughout Europe.
- Our client recruits high level positions, including "C" level appointments (Managing Directors, Sales directors, Sales Managers, Sales Executives, Business Development Managers and Pre and Post Sales Consultants) for technology and telecoms companies in the UK and in Europe.

The Right Person
Essential:
- Degree Educated (2:1 or higher)
- 6+ Month’s Sales Experience - Either:
- Telephone Based Sales (Inbound/Outbound)
- Estate Agency
- Direct Sales (Events Sales/Door-to-Door)
- Membership/Subscription Sales
- Some Other Form of Sales (Not Retail)

The Role
- This is a great opportunity for a very talented young professional to break into the recruitment industry.
- Your career will be guided by mentors and regular training and development meetings will be encompassed.
- Cold-calling prospective and historic clients.
- Tracking leads within the target market - IT / Telecommunications in the UK and Europe.
- Working on the phones, 80 - 100 calls per day, speaking with company Chairmen, CEOs, Directors and VP of Sales.
- The 1st four months are very tough, once you build up an account base after 6 months the level of cold calling dips, will also then be passed some established accounts.
- Trainee’s start off as "Account Executives" for your first 3 months and subsequently follow a clearly defined career progression plan.
- This covers the client side of recruitment, requiring lots of new business development within your select market.
- You can then decide to stay within account executive or become a consultant - where you’ll be giving full candidate training.
