We directly serve all the main supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Waitrose, M&S, Co-Op etc.) plus supply the foodservice and independent retailers sector. We are now seeking a Graduate Analyst (Market Intelligence) to join our dynamic, entrepreneurial Business Improvement Team. This role will provide the successful candidate with an excellent broad base of business experience to kick start your career and expose you to the challenges we face on a daily basis within our dynamic Fresh Produce industry. As soon as you start you will have the opportunity to shape and add value to the team.


The successful candidate will have the following main responsibilities:

·         To coordinate the collation and management of key market data from a range of sources, including various external MI data sources, comparative shop, internal data, industry information etc.

·         To manage the development and production of market intelligence and related reports across the whole Poupart Group.

·         To undertake market intelligence analysis projects to support the sales and leadership teams across Poupart's four supermarket-facing businesses.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have:

·         An undergraduate degree (2.1 minimum) in a relevant subject - ideally Marketing, Business or Food related.

·         A full UK driving licence.

·         A genuine interest in the food/fresh produce industry

·         A degree of experience working within research / business development in the FMCG industry would be a distinct advantage

The successful candidate will be:

  • A self starter, who is resourceful and proactive
  • Comfortable working with numbers and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Able to execute multiple tasks and adhering to time critical deadlines
  • Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and manage a wise range of business relationships
  • IT literate / working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
