Graduate Administrator

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or equivalent or candidate with financial mathematical and statistical experience.
  • Processing administration to ensure productivity, quality and service level targets are consistently met.
  • To enter data onto the medical underwriting systems.
  • Coordinating the telephone and field underwriting interviews.
  • Calculation of benefit levels
  • Responsible for the issuing of underwriting requirements to IFA’s, professionals, employers and employees.
  • To liaise with customers, including professionals, IFA’s, employers and employees to ensure the receipt of evidence required to underwrite.
  • Compliant with policies, procedures and guidelines on the holding of confidential evidence.
  • Ensure the continued protection of information, by following all applicable Information Security policies and procedures and by reporting suspected weaknesses in information security controls to the Information Security Officer.
  • Understand how Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Risk Management relate to both your own role and your divisional activities and highlight any opportunities for improvement.

Minimum entry criteria:

Experience within an office environment

  • Excellent telephone manner and call handling skills

Qualifications: This could suit a recent graduate or equivalent with some previous work experience, or good academic qualifications demonstrating a mathematical/ statistical interest and ability or previous work experience in a financial environment
