GMC PrintNet Programmer

GEM Professional Services are working with a successful Direct Mailing House in the North East who are currently seeking a GMC PrintNet T Programmer to working as part of a team to ensure all necessary data work including data formatting and MailSort is carried out to ensure availability of approved letter text, in accordance with print and production schedules to enable customer mailing dates to be met or exceeded.

You will have at least 2 years GMC PrintNet programming expertise in a similar environment and have the ability to work well under pressure.

You will be required to;

- Write and test GMC PrintNet T set up and letter text set up as required to ensure correct data is ready for the output of mailings as per client specifications

- Apply MailSort/WalkSort criteria to data in accordance with customer specifications

- Carry out data manipulation as appropriate to ensure accurate processing and output of jobs in line with client requirements

- Carry out job proofing on all jobs, ensuring testing and quality checking, with proofs sent to clients for approval, making any adjustments as necessary.
