German-Speaking Market Research Consultant

Due to expansion, an organisation specialising in building services technology seeks a Market Research Consultant with fluent German language skills to support their global client portfolio.  The Company’s Worldwide Market Intelligence Division continually aims for improvement in quality assurance in order to provide the highest standard of innovative service to its clients and the purpose of this role is to underpin its continued success.

  Responsibilities include:

• Taking client briefs, writing proposals and interviewing respondents, which may involve travelling abroad.
• The role will operate with a high level of autonomy and involves liaising with internal and external customers at senior level.
• Face to face and telephone interviewing
• Questionnaire design
• Proposal preparation
• Results analysis
• Report writing
• Presentation of findings to clients
• Desk research using published data

Skills and experience required:

• Excellent research skills - investigative problem identification and solution
• Excellent analytical skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• The ability to deliver results within budget and on time
• A high level of commercial awareness and the ability to identify potential areas for new projects
• High level of numeracy
• Fluency in English and German
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confident communication skills, verbal and written
• Computer literacy including Word and Excel
• Degree in a business-related discipline
• Experience in marketing and research, preferably business to business
