An international, multidisciplinary consultancy are urgently seeking a geotechnical design consultant to join their team in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to progress a career in a prestigious organisation whilst working on a range of detailed design projects.
Working amongst experienced geotechnical, structural and civil engineers the successful candidate will provide technical expertise on a range of earthworks and design and build projects.
Technical expertise is required in the following areas:
- On site earthworks assessment
- Foundation design
- Retaining wall and gravity embedded wall design
- Detailed report writing and interpretation
Applicants must have a first class academic background including a BEng/MEng Civil Engineering ideally with a further qualification in Geotechnical/Structural Engineering.
