Job Description
This role should hands on 1D and 3D Geomechanics, Real-Time Geomechanics, and well bore stability analysis in different geographical areas, support drilling operations through real time geomechanics and Well Bore Stability studies for drilled wells, apply geomechanical models to optimize fracture stimulation, optimize drilling and well placement; minimize reservoir compaction, surface subsidence and sand production, provide real-time decision support to the drilling team to maximize drilling efficiency and minimize risk while achieving the well objectives, advise clients on drilling, stimulation, and sanding problems issues and solutions through the use of geomechanics solutions.
Qualified applier should have bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Geology, or Geophysics or a related science as appropriate to the required discipline. A minimum of 10 years of oil and gas industry experience, with 3D Geomechanics modelling and simulation. Experience on 1D Mechanical Earth Models and Well Bore Stability studies. Prior consulting/secondment experience a plus. Hands on experience with Petrel or equivalent software.
