Job Description
This position is responsible for perform geological analysis and studies related to Unconventional resources basin and prospect assessments in China. Regional geological evaluation of unconventional plays, reservoir characterization in unconventional hydrocarbons plays (tight gas, shale gas, unconventional oil, and/or coal bed methane), geochemistry petroleum systems and basin modelling, log analysis and interpretation in unconventional reservoirs.
Qualified applier should experienced in location and providing geological support to drilling operations in unconventional plays, bachelor degree in geology or related science, a minimum of 15 years' work experience with an oil and gas operating company, with at least 5 years experience in unconventional hydrocarbon basins with some US experience preferred. Prior consulting/secondment experience a plus.
