Job Role - General Manager - Unique Venue:
An opportunity has arisen to join as a General Manager. We require a manager to oversee the entire operation including, being responsible for:
- Conference and banqueting
- Event management
- Running all aspects of the venue
- Recruitment and Training
- Promoting and implementing all company standards of service
- Ensuring that all legal and company requirements are met
- Ensuring client relationship is maintained
- Ensure that all functions and events are carried out successfully
- Ensure that stock controls are in place and adhered to
This role offers the opportunity to manage and oversee all aspects of the venue.
Key Attributes - General Manager - Unique Venue:
- Previous management experience preferably within a hospitality / event management field
- Knowledge of operating a multi facetted operation - being responsible for a Restaurant, Bar, Gym, Golf Club, Hotel, Conference and Banqueting suites for example
- Direct line manager for 15 + people
- Outgoing, exceptional rapport building skills to maintain an important client relationship
- Financial awareness - proven record of full P & L responsibility and control
- Ambition to continually drive and develop the business
- Understanding of the quality market
- Ability to maintain a client relationship - essential
