The General Assistant ensures cleanliness & visual standards are maintained at all times in the Business Centre.
Responsibilities: maintaining cleanliness throughout the Centre including:kitchen, offices, meeting rooms, toilets & other common areas.
Ensure client offices are cleaned & prepared for new client move-ins.
Ensure meeting rooms are cleaned & prepared before & after events. Delivery of client's post. Preparation & delivery of client refreshments e.g. tea, coffee.
Checking all photocopiers & fax machines ensuring they are stocked with paper & print cartridges.
Cover switchboard & reception as required.
Essential Criteria: Be able to participate in the lifting & handling of heavy items. Good English language skill. Previous experience within a cleaning or conferencing role. Knowledge of COSHH.
