We are currently recruiting for a Gear Box Fitter to work within a well known Company in the Coventry area.
Main job purpose:
To provide a professional Gearbox fitting service to customers at their premises as and when required.
Prepare gearbox assemblies in the workshop to customer specifications as per works orders.
Maintain the workshop and all stock in an orderly and safe manner, giving full consideration to Health & Safety/COSHH legislation.
To carry out customer service visits, surveys, gearbox specifications and any other activity required at customers.
Skills required:
Must understand and apply the Company's business objectives and customer care policy.
Sound understanding of gearbox fitting procedures.
Can use and apply companies Technical Manuals to gearbox fitting procedures.
Good understanding of and operates to, the companies safe system of work.
Must have excellent communication skills and be detailed and methodical in approach to tasks.
Assist with training of less experienced colleagues and customers if required.
Must be able to drive and have a recognised UK driving licence.
Will be required to drive a fork-lift truck.
Working knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
