Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager for this expanding organisation. The position is part-time based on 24 hours per week. Due to the nature of the position it will involve evening and weekends.
The position will involve raising funds by increasing the contributions of individuals and groups to the charity.
Build relationships with supporters and exploring new fundraising opportunities. You will work to raise awareness of the charity’s work, aims and goals.
Identify potential sources of funding & resources.
Assist with fundraising implementation by helping others to raise funds and resources.
Maintain relationships and a support network for the benefit of the charity.
Use your communication skills to support the work of volunteer fundraisers.
Support the work of your fundraising team and those volunteers who assist the charity.
Receive and process donations, maintaining accurate financial records.
Manage data to support fundraising.
Assist with fundraising reporting through research, spreadsheets and data base packages.
Develop and implement plans in the Following Areas:
For local and community fundraising.
For fundraising events.
For legacy fundraising.
For corporate fundraising activity.
For the generation of grant income.
For major gift fundraising.
For Fundraising through electronic media.
For the recruitment of donors using direct marketing channels.
Monitor, enhance and sustain relationships with supporters of the charity.
Conduct fundraising audits as required to asses the effectiveness of the fundraising function.
Develop and implement an integrated fundraising plan.
Manage supporter recognition and retention.
Lead the monitoring and evaluation of fundraising performance.
Manage fundraising resources effectively.
Plan and co-ordinate joint working, in conjunction with other organisations, for fundraising.
