Our client, an established asset manager with presence across the UK and an outstanding reputation for their investment portfolio management proposition, is currently looking to recruit fund administrators to their Cheshire operation.

The primary focus of the role is to co-ordinate fund administration activities for the firm’s specialist funds (including discretionary) and manage the service that is delivered to outsourced administration providers. However there is a range of further duties relating to cash reconciliations, cash management, compliance, reporting, daily pricing and payment processes that any applicant would need to be comfortable with.

The company is looking for experience in the following areas and therefore invites applications from those working within asset/investment management:

  • Fund administration experience (accounting, custody and transfer agency preferred)
  • Working with outsourced administration suppliers
  • NAV calculations
  • SDRT reports to replicate NAV calculation process

Alongside such skills are more generic requirements, such as attention to detail, the ability to work in a pressurised environment and good written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications such as the IMC or IOC (previously IAQ) would be advantageous.

This is an exciting time to join the company given the growth they have experienced in recent years and their ambitious plans for the future. Their Cheshire office is the central hub for their investment proposition and will only continue to develop in importance.
