We are looking to recruit a full time person for the above position with immediate effect. This post will be based in the West Cliff on Sea area. The main duties and responsibilities include supervising and on spot training of carers, ensuring all care plans/log books are placed in Service User’s homes and monitoring and ensuring that duties are carried out according to individual care plans. Identifying individual training needs for carers.
Additional responsibilities will include handover of rotas to the on call supervisor on a daily basis. Ability to motivate team members.
Ability to write brief reports.
Ability to use own initiative and with confidence, work with minimum supervision, and deal with emergencies.
Ability to maintain administrative systems.
IT literacy.
Ability to provide a culturally sensitive service.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
