Front office and Events Coordinator

My client a leading Borders Hotel has a vacancy for an experienced person to fill a rather special and challenging role.

The Role is;

  • Front office and reception biased so a good knowledge of various operating systems would be ideal
  • Wedding sales and coordination is also part of this remit so a good understanding of sales procedures together with event planning would be very beneficial in this role
  • Duty Management shifts

The Candidate;-

  • A solid receptionist who is very organised and procedure driven.
  • Good al rounder with event planning experience
  • Not afraid to get in with the team at busy times leading from the front
  • Experienced in various hotel reservation office based systems
  • I.T. Literate
  • Supervisory experience would be of help.

This is a very diverse role for hospitality professional to get another foot up the hospitality ladder.

The salary is based on experienced and is circa 5K - 7K
