Front-end Web Developer (WordPress)

Brandshank & Tone are on the look-out for a kick-ass web developer.  We are looking more for a front-end developer with a specialism for WordPress (our CMS of choice) to help us continue creating exceptional sites for clients.  You will be the 6th member of the team in this small, ambitious start-up agency.   

We are looking for you if:

• you live and breathe the web
• you have a genuine passion for the digital industry
• you are cool with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and PHP for WordPress (web app experience an advantage)
• you are comfortable taking expertly designed PSD sites and converting them into beautiful WordPress themes.
• you are familiar with Photoshop/Fireworks and can muck in if required with tweaking designs to suit your needs.

Responsibilities include: 

• Managing the production of awesome WordPress themes for clients, including liaising with clients where necessary.
• Helping with the front-end development (jQuery, Ajax & others) for prototyping our web app ideas 
• Getting involved with all Tone / Brandshank activity such as the blog and social media channels.

The Skills:

This role demands a bright, ambitious and confident individual to work with clients and a strong production team to deliver awesome digital projects and develop this new business yet further.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in order to deal with clients and production teams concurrently and be willing (with training) to assist these teams where necessary with their work. 

In addition, great presentation, eye for detail and willingness to succeed and grow will be required.
