French to Chinese Translator
Paris or Montpellier
Position:
Qualified translators/reviewers and project co-ordinators who are experienced at translating marketing-related documents from French into Chinese. Full or part-time positions available
Tasks
•Assisting with translations from French into Chinese.
•Providing review and quality assurance to support our project management and Chinese translators
Key Requirements:
• A degree in Translation, Languages, Publishing, Journalism or similar.
• Above-average language and translation skills, a good writing style with accurate spelling and grammar.
• Ability to work efficiently and to a high standard.
• Ability to conform to glossaries and style guides and to make good use of tools.
• Professional approach and commitment to quality.
• Professional experience as a translator specialising in luxury goods, fashion, cosmetics, food, tourism, culture.
• Familiarity with at least one translation memory tool (preferably Trados, SDLX, MemoQ, Idiom or Passolo).
• A keen interest in IT and new technologies.
• Good team worker.
