Exceptionally successful SME company within the pharmaceutical formulation and distribution arena, requires an independent, technically astute Formulations Development Scientist to join their ever expanding business model and manufacturing facility. This opportunity will give rise to new challenges, varied projects and career development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and plan resources to enable multiple projects to be progressed simultaneously; manage all project time lines in accordance with company expectations.
- Design formulations of liquid dosage forms.
- Provide support to production in process improvement and troubleshooting.
- Propose modifications and new techniques for preparation of formulations.
- Complete accurate process documentation in accordance with GMP, to include manufacturing documents and preparation of reports.
- Writing of S&OP's
- Batch scaling
Experience and Qualifications:
- PhD or Degree in pharmacy or similar
- Formulations experience
- Liquid dosage experience
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of compliance and health and safety standards
Competencies:
- Ability to self-manage
- Work independently with minimal management
- Initiative
- Commercial acumen
- Interpersonal skills
- Mature
- Drive results
