HotProspects, the East Midland graduate recruitment service, was established by FMC with funding and support from regional government in 2006. The objective was to deliver a fast and cost effective mechanism for businesses to access graduates and drive regional skills retention. The service has successfully placed over 1,000 graduates, attracted over 12,000 graduate registrations, and has worked closely with over 1,200 businesses.
The role
Due to recent growth a position has become available to join the HotProspects recruitment team in Lincoln. Although you could be the next business unit leader you will need to start at the bottom to learn key skills and prove your worth.
Although not limited to some of the key responsibilities will include -
1. Contact graduates (principally telephone contact) to promote the service and raise awareness of relevant vacancies.
2. Arrange interviews with candidates and provide constructive and meaningful feedback / advice.
3. Work to set key performance indicators to ensure that commercial targets are reached.
4. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all higher level skills projects.
5. Maintain and develop HotProspects system and online content.
6. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
7. Attend careers fairs / exhibitions to promote the HotProspects services to new graduates.
8. Liaise and attend meetings with Account Managers to understand the requirements of each graduate vacancy.
9. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
10. Provide support to the account management team in an administration capacity (e.g. keeping outputs of each project up-to-date).
Its hard work and expectations will be high. You will need to be a great communicator that is able to think on your feet. You will need to be a rounded individual that can show commercial acumen and determination to progress.
The person
You wont just be a great communicator, you'll be fantastic. You will have a commercial outlook and an ability to communicate with colleagues, clients and even Managing Directors in a polite and professional manner.
