Johnson Controls has an exciting opportunity for a FM Technician (Multi-skilled Technician (Mech Bias) to join their team based in Ware. The successful candidate will support Johnson Controls Team by undertaking both mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance on machines and equipment; as well as responding to emergency machine break downs as required by the supervisor. Involvement with new design, and installation of machines; Overhaul and repair of machines and equipment. Ensuring machines and equipment on site are safe, working efficiently and fit for purpose. Must be prepared to work shifts, work overtime and respond to call outs as required in line with the remit of the post. The Role of the FM Technician (Multi-skilled Technician (Mech Bias: To be responsible for all actions and performance to the Engineering Manager To provide a GEP/GMP compliant maintenance service working to Company and client procedures and liaising on such matters with the user department, and the Controls and Compliance Engineer. To ensure that all engineering work in his area is carried out in accordance with the requirements of both Johnson Controls and Client Respond to the requests of the client Customers by executing the reactive tasks via Engineering Service Requests in line with KPI's A strong comprehension of compliance with government legislation Complete Planned Preventative maintenance ensuring KPI's are met with client requirements. Respond to the requests of the operations by carrying out tasked associated with Breakdowns Provide effective feed back to the Engineering Managers to ensure that Managers are aware of any Facilities/System/Equipment/Site Engineering abnormalities Perform any reasonable task as required by their Supervisor / Manager Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training Follow required emergency procedures as documented and to respond accordingly during emergency situations as directed by training Report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies To take responsibility for defects and follow up on any repairs To be self motivated and proactively seek out work Roles to include callout rota involvement as and when necessary The ideal candidate should have/be: Formal electrical/mechanical apprenticeship Experience in building services City & Guilds parts 1, 2, 3 Electrical/Electronic City & Guilds 2391 inspection / Testing ONC Pharmaceutical/regulated working background AP 12 LV Training (external) AP 15 HV Training (external) 17th Edition IEE Ref Number: 71894 Benefits: We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits together with genuine opportunities for you to develop your skills and build on your career.
