Johnson Controls has an exciting opportunity for a FM Technician (LSMM Technician) to join their team based in Hoddesdon. The successful candidate is responsible for all provision of all agreed Laboratory Services and Materials Management (incl. Post room) services at client Hoddesdon. This includes provision of both GMP and Non-GMP activities. The LSMM technician is familiar with Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and deals appropriately with all hazardous materials. Operates to applicable legislative requirements. Operates in accordance with Johnson Controls and client Corporate Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and General Operating Procedures The Role of the FM Technician (LSMM Technician): Performs duties specified in Laboratory Services and Materials Management (LSMM) Service Level Agreements (SLA's) to levels agreed with client. Ensures that all tasks performed are in accordance with operating procedures Ensures that all tasks are performed in accordance with Risk assessments Operates Receiving bay for MRL for both GMP and non-GMP materials Performs inspections of packaging and labelling and checks the GRN and accompanying paperwork. Performs regular stock checks and cycle counts of the GMP storage areas and dispensary and updates inventories. Performs sampling and dispensing of GMP materials for use in tablet manufacture and trails packaging. Passes all samples to Analytical in agreed time scales Identifies materials for expiry and retesting. Passes all samples to Analytical in agreed time scales Manages the movement of clinical manufacturing equipment between process rooms and storages areas Highlights discrepancies and issues regarding materials, procedures and areas to WGMPQ Provides technical services support to the onsite Analytical departments. This includes Preparation of buffer solutions, Performance Quality testing and other laboratory duties. Updates all associated computer systems as required Maintains housekeeping of all LSMM areas Carries out other tasks as directed by the LSMM Team Leader or Johnson Controls Management personnel. The ideal candidate should have/be: Familiarity with database and computer systems is essential. Previous experience in a similar GMP environment dealing with material management and sampling Training/experience handling hazardous materials. GCSE in science Grade 'C' or equivalent.
