A progressive, national firm of Independent Financial Advisers has a new vacancy for an Investments Valuations Administrator to join the office in Pontefract. You will be responsible for providing administrative support in the area of personal and corporate financial planning, with a particular focus on valuations; working within a team of other Administrators. You will assist with obtaining quotations/valuations and key feature documents from Product Providers. You will liaise closely with pensions, investment and protection product providers obtaining fund values which you will input onto the system and notify other areas of the business with. You will compile data spreadsheets, set up review packs for the Investment Service Manager and carry other ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required.
Candidates applying for this vacancy MUST have previous experience working within investment administration in an IFA practice. THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE. Applicants must also have a keen eye for detail, be accurate and have a strong and hard working work ethic. You will ideally have a good working knowledge of 1st Software together with good IT skills. You will have good interpersonal, organisation and numeracy skills together with a professional and polite telephone manner.
