Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Analyst for a well known organisation based in Basingstoke. In the role you will be responsible for performing the monthly Canadian IFRS period end reporting processes for allocated areas for a period of 12 months.

- To perform the monthly Canadian IFRS investment reporting process, to include the verification and reconciliation of asset balances, amortisation and investment income.
- To undertake the property partnership and short term investment fund (STIF) accounting processes on a monthly basis, including posting the relevant adjustments and creating an appropriate audit trail.
- To undertake a monthly balance sheet review and analysis of other assets and liabilities.
- To undertake the preparation of information for the quarterly credit review meeting.
- To provide cover for other investment accounting processes as and when requirements arise.
- To get involved in ad hoc projects that may arise from time to time.
- To prepare accurate and timely reports on investment information in compliance with statutory and corporate requirements, to include OSFI/MCCSR (Canadian Regulator), corporate disclosure notes and ONS returns.
- To liaise with external and internal auditors as well as other internal departments on property and STIF related matters.
- To assist in preparation of the statutory accounts for the non-life.
