FINANCE DIRECTOR - Aerospace / Engineering - Southampton - to £110k + Package
The Company
One of the worlds largest companies with revenues of over $150bn worldwide and operating in multiples industries ranging from finance to aviation.
The Role
- Head of Finance for a $140m mechanical business
- Reporting to the SVP in the USA
- Providing strong leadership to ensure a compliance environment
- Working closely with the operating team to deliver growth and productivity
- Ensure GAP compliance and a strong controllership culture
- Ensure risk management controls are in place (FX, Tax, Account Recs etc)
- Take ownership for business profitability - balance sheet, P&L and cash flow
- Develop and prepare annual operating plans and forecasts
- Drive cash generation and working capital initiatives
The Person
- Degree qualified accountant ideally ACA, ACCA
- Aerospace, engineering or manufacturing experience essential
- Process improvement experience
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self confident
- Highly self motivated and a self starter
- Strong leadership and people development skills
- An ability to challenge people and processes at all levels of the business
- Ambitious and career focused.
