Having indentified an area in retail that nobody had tapped this company has come in leaps and bounds in the last few years to not only have 5 UK outlets but international presence also. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving business and add financial guidance.
The opportunity that comes with this position is outstanding and rare. If you can find cost savings and increase business then bonus is on the cards also potential equity stake in the company is up for offer if the situation dictates.
This role initially requires a hands on approach doing everything from management accounts to statutory accounts (including group consolidations) but in time as the company grows so will the team around you.
Duties include:
• Total running of the finance function
• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis
• Monthly profit and loss
• Business planning and contract negotiation
• Year end
• Group consolidations
• Working knowledge of UK GAAP & IFRS
This role will only suit someone who is looking to work in an entrepreneurial environment and can confidently have ownership of their work. You will also need to give solid financial advice to senior management.
