As a rapidly growing player within the leisure sector, our client are seeking to hire a Financial Controller for a key division within their business accounting for over 30% of their revenue. As a strategic partner to an illustrious list of leading brands in the industry, this represents an exceptional opportunity for an accountant (most likely qualified) to play a pivotal role in driving the strategic agenda and adding value to the bottom line.
The successful candidate will assume commercial/financial ownership of this key division producing the monthly management reports and board pack with accompanying value add commentary and an emphasis on facilitating decision making.
Forming part of the SMT and reporting to the CFO, you will ensure that an appropriate control environment is prevalent within this division.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (or equivalent) with relevant PQE. You will have cultivated strong management accounting and commercial analytical experience ideally from a retail or multi-site business. Advanced Excel (Complex formulae, nested 'if' statements etc) and strong systems skills are requisite.
