ABPM as experts in financial recruitment have been invited to assist our specialist SME client who operates in the IT industry, in their search for a Financial Controller
This company has a well recognised brand name, are market leaders in their field and have experienced growth year on year since they were formed in the late 70's.
As financial controller you will be primary user of their Cognos planning tool, responsible for maintaining the financial models used in short to medium term planning. Due to the level of involvement in the Cognos tool, advanced skills on Cognos are essential, with the ability to build cubes.
Day to day duties include:
Helping define the budgeting and forecasting process, managing your time to ensure all deadlines are met
Review the forecast output and analysing the information
Run scenario analysis on the forecasts, using this to aid in the understanding of P&L, BS and Cash Flow sensitivities as inputs vary
Management reports and presentations
Statutory accounts
To be considered for this role you should be a qualified accountant, with significant experience in using Cognos, and have held previous senior level finance roles.
