Organisation Description
My client are the largest independent producer of organic vegetable boxes in the UK, with a current turnover of £45m. They are strong believers in fresh, seasonal organic produce. Currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller, this person will play a key role in the future developments of their financial procedures.
Job Description
companysC will manage the finance team and carry out regular meeting and appraisals as well as:
* Working closely with the management team
* Managing the whole finance function
* Providing central support for the 5 other sites
* Assist in the development of the copmany’s ERP system
* Take an active role business development
* Development of financial controls and procedures
* Production of KPI’s
* Managing debtors
* VAT returns
* Cash flow forecasting
* Preparation of statutory accounts and audit responsibility
* Treasury management
Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
* Be ACA or CIMA qualified
* Have at least 2 years industry experience (food or manufacturing will be an advantage)
* Have experience in using Microsoft Dynamics AX, Navision, SAP, Oracle or similar
* Have management experience
* Be confident, enthusiastic and a forward thinker
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Have strong interpersonal skills
