This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading brands as Financial Controller. You will have responsibility for a team of 3 direct reports and be accountable for all aspects of financial reporting including P&L reporting, financial control, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.
In this varied role you will directly interface with the Operations and Group Finance team. You will manage all monthly forecasting, report on variance analysis and attend Group meetings to update the business on financial performance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for driving change across Operations to affect better financial control and ensure P&L exposures are limited.
The ideal candidate will:
-be a confident and flexible self-starter
-qualified to ACA, CIMA or ACCA with strong leadership skills
-have exceptional financial control skills alongside the ability to develop internal and external relationships at a senior level in a fast moving environment
-have at least 2-3 years PQE in a service orientated commercial environment
-possess strong forward planning ability combined with the flare to motivate a team of 3 direct reports and the wider operational team
-be able to manage conflicting demands across a number of different areas whilst prioritising their own time and that of other team members.
