Job Description
New Media Company requires a French speaking Financial Controller
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading company in a newly created role. Your main focus is to make sure all the revenue is accounted for and that the month end procedures are carried out in accordance with company / US HQ guide lines.
Duties include:
• Supervision of accounts assistants
• Month end – identify errors, missing prepayment & accruals before close
• Internal systems review and improvement
• Revenue / variance analysis and review
• Month end reporting pack submitted to US HQ
• Total ownership of month end process (accruals, revenue, cost, prepayments, profit and loss, reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting)
• Oversee divisions payroll and expenses
• Involvement in divisions Treasury
• Prepare for year end Audit
• Other ad hoc duties as required
Within this newly created role you will have to scope to really bring your experience to this company and make a difference in their accounting procedures. You will need to be confident in your own abilities.
