Financial Control Accountant

Join us as a Financial Control Accountant, and you’ll be out in the business working in partnership with stakeholders at all levels to understand how their business area works, so that you can create a controls environment that satisfies both the business and the auditors. • Leading the planning, executing and reporting of Financial Control testing across key areas of the business including Sales and Servicing, Claims, Finance and Actuarial
• Ensuring that quarterly reporting deadlines are consistently achieved
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in relation to the Financial Control environment and ensuring that data and content are secure
• Working with selected business areas and supporting Controls business partners in developing and maintaining effective working relationships
• Making sure that all information gathered is presented in a clear, comprehensible way

SO WHAT DO I NEED?

• Ideally Finance qualification (either ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified) or equivalent experience
• A strong background in financial controls / risk management / audit
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities
• Outstanding influencing and communication skills
• Proven ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
• Financial Services experience helpful but not essential
