Financial Analyst - South Africa

A great opportunity has arisen for a Financial Analyst to join a market leading American commodities trading company with global interests.

This role would be based in Johannesburg in South Africa and would be a fantastic chance to start a career with a well-established and highly regarded multi-national company.

Responsibilities

• The reviewing of foreign affiliates financial statements for US GAAP compliance
• Process and distribute financial statements
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Occasionally travelling to other international interests for accounting oversight (approx. 20% travelling)

Requirements

• Must have CPA or CA
• Educated to Degree level with a degree in Accounting or related field
• 2 years of public accounting experience
• 5 years of commercial accounting experience
• Experience of US GAAP
• Bi-lingual Spanish or French would be an advantage
• Proficient Excel Skills
• International experience would be advantageous
