The role reports into the Finance Director and is responsible for producing all legal and statutory reporting for UK legal entities on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. More specifically the role will include:
- Performing monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
- Preparation of periodic financial reports, financial analysis and commentary
- Liaise with internal and external auditors on accounting matters
- Assist with the process improvement and process documentation activities
- Reconciliation and review of accountant and ledgers
- Identification of potential accounting issues
- Application of checks and controls to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded
- Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments
- Assist with quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting process
- Preparation of statutory accounts,statutory tax packs and tax returns under US Gaap, UK Gaap, IFRS
- Performance of quarterly SOX controls testing

- A qualified accountant either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good knowledge of US Gaap, UK Gaap, IFRS and Sarbanes - Oxley
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
