Finance Manager

An excellent opportunity to join the Commercial Finance team of one of the area's leading employers. Our Client, a world leading, household brand name, has an urgent requirement for a Finance Manager - Reporting & Analysis on a 9 -12 month fixed term maternity cover contract. Managing a team of 2 direct reports you will have responsibility for the UK Balance sheet and P&L forecast; Responsibility for partnering with the operational team to ensure delivery of budgeted profit; Provide financial modelling for business cases that support new product initiatives; Track and report against capital expenditure commitment on product initiatives and store remodels; Identify reporting gaps and work with the Reporting Team to devise standard schedules and ad hoc analysis; Review and explain the divisional P&Ls and balance sheets; Ownership of the UK direct cost budgets c £16m per annum - setting budgets and then partnering with the UK leadership team to ensure stay within budget; Management and reporting of capital budgets / spend c £30m per annum - including ROIs, remodels and support to UK property team; Support to new business developments - business cases, assessment, presenting to key stakeholders and reporting on performance; Fixed costs budget and forecast management c £180m spend per annum; Evaluating Regional marketing event analysis and support. The successful candidate will be an immediately available, qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) accountant with significant PQE in a commercial, Blue-Chip environment. You will ideally come from a fast paced FMCG/Retail/Service based background with prior experience of financial analysis and modelling.
