CMA Group is pleased to offer a new opportunity to join a well established and niche technology business in Ringwood. We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a leading high specification technology business based in the Ringwood area of Hampshire; this is a challenging and varied permanent opportunity that has arisen due to recent internal staff changes within the business
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day finance function within a fast paced and varied environment. Core remit be will include: VAT returns, daily banking, cash management, cash flow control, preparation of monthly management accounts, preparation of statutory accounts, accruals and prepayments, fixed assets management and budgeting and forecasting. You will also have staff supervisory responsibility for a team of three and will also be instrumental in the implementation and development of a new accounting system.
We’re looking for a qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant or QBE, who has had recent experience in managing the finance function in an SME and has reliable and solid technical accounting skills and meticulous attention to detail as well as well-honed analytical ability. The successful candidate will have a positive, self-motivated ‘can do’ attitude, appetite for challenge and good problem solving skills together with a demonstrable trek record in contributing to the commercial success and profitability of business. Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Sage Line 50 would be advantageous. In return, our client offers a competitive remuneration, free parking and a great working environment.
