Finance Manager

Job Description

Due to an internal move my client is looking to recruit a Regional Financial Controller who will oversee the business across the ME & India.
The Role

•Reporting directly into the Regional Vice President and Area General Manager you will be responsible to maintain the entire Finance & Accounting functions for the Middle East and India business.
Key Responsibilities;

•Process Monthly Financial Information in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) to be incorporated into the Company’s Consolidated Financial Statements.
•Establish Accounting Procedures and Routines consistent with proper Internal Control, including the monitoring of Delegation of Authority and Monetary Approval Authority.
•Coordinate with External Auditors to insure the Company’s statutory filing obligations are accurate and timely.
•Insures the Area Balance Sheet accounts are analyzed in a timely manner, including reconciliations of Company bank accounts, and necessary adjustments to accounts are processed in a timely manner with adherence to Company policy regarding Monetary Approval Authority.
•Advise and guide General and Operational Management in Area Business Processes.
•Implementation of key processes and procedures
•Meet regularly with local outside legal, tax, and labour advisors to review outstanding Company matters and to seek advice and consul on current and pending legislation impacting the Company.
•Assist and Advise Area General, Operational, and Commercial Management as needed, including such matters as Budget Preparation and Monitoring, Bid Preparation, Accounts Receivable Collections, and Customer Relations
•Involvement in operational and commercial decisions
•Insure regulatory requirement including SOX are adhered
The Candidate

•Qualified Accountant - preferably from the Big 4
•7 years working experience in a combined role of Finance & Administration Manager.
•Multinational company background preferred.
•Previous experience in Oracle would be beneficial
•Strong at Controllership
