Organisation Description
My client who is based in the Londonderry / Derry area is recruiting for an experienced Finance Manager to run a small finance department.
Job Description
Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with senior management throughout the business this key role will take the lead in the following:
• Developing and implementing accounting controls and procedures
• Developing financial plans and forecasts for the business
• Producing accurate monthly management accounts
• Production of annual statutory accounts and audit pack
• Managing cash flow through controlling debtors and creditors
• Working closely with the General Manager (Sales and Operations) to drive profit
• Setting KPIs to ensure that department and company objectives are met
• Liaising with external stakeholders
• Conducting ongoing analysis of figures / results to identify areas for improvement
• Implementing new accounts software
It is expected that applicants will be fully qualified and have exposure in a similarly commercial role. You will develop a good understanding of the business as a whole and be able to foresee the impact financial decisions with have elsewhere in the business. Good communication skills, strength of character and good Excel skills are required in this position.
