My client based in Peterborough are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager.

You will be responsible for controlling the financial and business information within the organisation, the management accounts and managing 2 members of staff.

Key responsibilities will be:
Month end reconciliations covering balance sheet and other significant accounts
Monthly Value Added Taxation return compilation (training and support will be provided)
Foreign currency contract management
Customer credit management including debtors reporting
Accounts payable ledger responsibility including the payment of suppliers
Monthly management accounts completion
Support treasury activities of the Company, including cash and foreign exchange management as well as credit management.
Produce weekly and monthly financial reports required by the business
Provide financial and management information and assessments to the CFO
Assist with the external & internal audit function as may be required from time to time.
Assist in planning, forecasting and budgetary activities.
Work in conjunction with the senior business management (i.e. Operations Manager and Sales & Marketing Director etc) and be part of the management team for this business
Regular contact with the CFO/CCO/CEO on weekly and monthly reporting
Work closely with the UK Group Financial Controller on weekly and monthly group financial reporting

Requirements:

Financial and management account experience, preferably in a processing business with a multi-site operation.
Experience of IFRS and UK tax would be an advantage but is not essential.
Strong communication skills are essential as is the ability to deal with colleagues in a calm and diplomatic manner.
Ability to act as a business support function to enable the business to achieve its objectives.
Good attention to detail and variances analysis investigation ability.
Good computer skills (specifically Excel).
