An award winning Financial Services company is looking for an experienced Shared Services Finance Manager who has proven experience dealing with high volumes of receipts, invoices and queries.
This newly created role manages the Cashiers and A.P. teams (2 direct reports, total team of 10), ensuring processes underlying the payment and receipt of funds (£1.5bn) are effectively delivered in a controlled environment.
Accountabilities:
Analyse shortfalls and roll out appropriate action plans to remediate process issues
Manage relationships with key internal customer stakeholders and day to day relationships with Companys bankers
Take ownership of general ledger accounts ensuring monthly reconciliation are performed and that potential transaction errors are identified which affect the Companys profitability
Ensure cash resources and cash-flow are managed efficiently
Regularly review processes, identifying risks and ensuring appropriate level of control
Person:
Demonstrable management/leadership experience within a similar role
Results Orientated with a proven track record of delivery and achievement
Strong numeracy skills are a key pre-requisite, able to understand, evaluate and interpret various financial data.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, technical and I.T. skills
Discretion and confidentiality is essential
Ideally Part or fully qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACMA, ACA, CA, CPA)
